PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-contrast and non-colored projected video under bright illuminating environment. SOLUTION: In the case of using a projector system equipped with a front projector and a reflection type screen or a rear projector equipped with a back projection type projector and a transmission type screen under a specified illuminating condition, the light absorbing characteristic of the screen is optimized as follows. That is, the screen has such light absorbing characteristic that the absorptive wavelength region of the screen exists in a wavelength region other than the center wavelength of video light, and the range of the color temperature of external light which is not absorbed in the screen is 4,500K to 7,000K (that is, achromatic color).
