PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser scanner which provides an excellent picture by suppressing the vibration of a mirror by adhering the mirror to such a member as scanner case of which the vibration is smaller than that of the mirror without spoiling the surface accuracy of the mirror. SOLUTION: The laser scanner is composed by housing in a scanner case 2: a light source which emits a laser beam; a deflection means which deflects and scans with the laser beam; and a folding mirror 17 which reflects the laser beam deflected with the deflection means toward a photoreceptor, wherein the folding mirror 17 is adhered to the scanner case 2 (or a member which is formed in a unit with the scanner case) via an intermediary member 30 which is a different body from the scanner case 2.
