PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily measure the dimension of an elevator hoistway mounted with a doorsill for a landing zone door using a measuring means (tape measure). SOLUTION: A pedestal 81 is composed of a base 811 attachable to/detachable from a doorsill 1 for a landing door and a slide plate 812 pivotally connected to this base and slildable, and is configured to be mounted, on the slide plate 812, with a laser irradiator (light irradiator) 83 and a tape measure 82 as a measuring means. The drawing direction of a rule part 82a of the tape measure 82 and the direction of the laser light irradiated from the laser irradiator 83 are coincident with each other in the horizontal direction, so that an operator can accurately and easily implement highly-accurate dimensional measurement.
