PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely simplify a constitution for eliminating C-shaped retaining rings from slipping out of a retaining ring groove, when a piston pin collapses a pressure receiving side peripheral wall part of the retaining ring groove. SOLUTION: A pin end surface pressing part 11 is extended from a tip part of a pair of left and right retaining ring operation claws 10 of a pair of left and right respective C-shaped retaining rings 8. The respective pin end surface pressing parts 11 of the respective C-shaped retaining rings 8, are made eccentric to the piston pin 7 side more than the C-shaped retaining rings 8, and are elastically pressed to and contacted with left and right respective pin end surfaces 9 of the piston pin 7. At the same time, the respective C-shaped retaining rings 8 are opposed by inserting a dance allowing clearance 12 between the respective pin end surfaces 9. The pin end surface pressing parts 11 are respectively extended from both tip parts of the pair of left and right retaining ring operation claws 10 of the respective C-shaped retaining rings 8. While one pin end surface pressing part 11 is made eccentric to the piston pin 7 side more than the C-shaped retaining rings 8, the other pin end surface pressing part 11 is made eccentric to the opposite side of the piston pin 7 side more than the C-shaped retaining rings 8.
