PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively melt snow in the initial state of a snowfall, in artificial lawn filled with a filler for inputting the granular filler between piles implanted in base cloth. SOLUTION: A water sprinkling facility to the artificial lawn and a heating facility of the artificial lawn are juxtaposed, to perform heating by sprinkling water until a filler layer becomes a state of 70 to 150% of wettability, when starting the snowfall or before starting the snowfall. Actually, a snowfall sensor is arranged as a snowfall detecting means, and water sprinkling and heating are performed until the filler layer becomes a state of 70 to 150% of wettability, simultaneously when detecting the snowfall, and the water sprinkling and the heating are performed until the filler layer becomes a state of 70 to 150% of wettability before starting the snowfall on the basis of snowfall predicting information.
