PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide centering work which makes the center position of a taper part formed in the cutting plate of a mold to be a standard appear exactly and is excellent in responsiveness to be able to adjust the center position of an air blowing nozzle easily to it and high in reliability. SOLUTION: A camera 4 is mounted on the taper part 33 formed in the cutting plate 32 of the mold 3 with the center position of the camera 4 made to coincide with the center position of the taper part 33. Image information on the center position of the air blowing nozzle 21 which is supported by a frame moving vertically opposite to the taper part 33 and inserted into a parison P is taken out by the camera 4. The image information is processed by an image processing system 5, and the degree of displacement of the center position of the nozzle 21 in relation to the center position of the taper part 33 to be a standard is calculated and displayed on a display 6. By using the degree of displacement, the center position of the nozzle 21 is adjusted to the center position of the taper part 33 to be the standard. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
