PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a position of a boom foot to a position suitable for obtaining large boom rising and falling force without extending whole height when transporting a base machine and to dispense with mounting and dismounting work of a boom cylinder when assembling/disassembling. SOLUTION: An adapter 22 is detachably attached to an attachment mounting member 21 provided in an upper part turning body of the base machine so as to protrude upward and forward, and terminal parts of the boom foot and the boom cylinder are attached to this adapter 22 to position the boom foot at a forward position higher than the highest point when transporting the base machine in order to obtain boom rising and falling thrust force. On the other hand, the adapter 22 is removed when disassembling/transporting, whole height of the base machine is suppressed within a limit when transporting, and the boom cylinder 8 is integrated with the adapter 22 for mounting and dismounting.
