PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of noise caused by mutual rubbing between members such as a liquid crystal panel, a diffusion plate of a backlight unit, a reinforcing plate, a frame and a reflector due to thermal expansion after activating a liquid crystal display device with respect to the countermeasure for noise in the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device having a backlight, at least one part in mutual contact areas of members constituting the liquid crystal display is provided with a friction decreasing means. The friction decreasing means is disposed at least one part in the mutual contact areas of the liquid crystal panel, the diffusion plate of the backlight unit, the reinforcing plate, the frame or the back reflector. The friction decreasing means is preferably a slippery sheet such as a fluorocarbon resin film, a film having a fluorinated surface, a polyacetal resin film, a polyethylene film or a silicon coating film.
