摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction apparatus and a reaction method, whereby the quantity of heat generated is efficiently utilized for the reaction of reactants flowing through a channel. <P>SOLUTION: The second reaction apparatus 14 has a body formed by joining three substrates 21-23. A winding microchannel 24 is formed at the joining part between the substrate 22 and the substrate 23, and a winding microchannel 25 is formed at the joining part between the substrate 21 and the substrate 22. The microchannel 24 and the microchannel 25 are formed so as to be symmetrical with respect to the interface between both faces of the substrate 22. A throughhole 26, i.e. the inlet of the microchannel 24, and a throughhole 28, i.e. the inlet of the microchannel 25, are arranged so as to be symmetrical with respect to an interface. A throughhole 27, i.e. the outlet of microchannel 24, and a throughhole 29, i.e. the outlet of the microchanel 25 are arranged so as to be symmetrical with respect to the interface.
