<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the large-scale production of an electromagnetic wave-readable data carrier suitable, for example, as an aviation tag, a physical distribution management label, or a pass for unmanned ticket examination at super-low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This carrier comprises a data carrier body including a spiral conductor pattern constituting an antenna coil, the pattern being held by a film-, sheet- or thin plate-like insulating substrate; and an electronic part module including an electronic part constituting a transmitting and receiving circuit or memory held on a film-, sheet-, or thin plate-like insulating small piece and a potting part for covering and protecting the electronic part. In the electronic part module, the insulating small piece is mounted on the data carrier body across a circumferential conductor bundle constituting the spiral conductor pattern, and the electric connection with the spiral conductor pattern is performed independently, separating to the inside and outside of the spiral conductor pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
