<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present route guidance and a recommended departure time for a transfer from a taxi to a train. <P>SOLUTION: Data accepting means 11 accept a point of departure, a destination and a desired arrival date/time. Route information acquiring means 13 acquire route information including necessary time and a route to the destination from a selected transfer station positioned on a route from the departure area to the destination and in a given area and selected by the user. Recommended departure time calculating means 14 compute predicted travel time for taxi travel from the departure area to the selected transfer station from point-specific travel time data derived from past taxi travel history data, and compute a recommended departure time from the predicted travel time, necessary time and desired arrival date/time. Route guidance information displaying means 15 create route guidance information including the recommended departure time, predicted travel time and the like.
