<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device having a simple structure for preventing sudden opening of a door in traveling, and preventing the deterioration in a door closing sound, by eliminating looseness of a detent lever. <P>SOLUTION: This door lock device has a rotatable latch and the detent lever 4 stored in a cover 8. The latch engages with and disengages from a striker in response to the rotational movement. The detent lever 4 engages with and disengages from the latch in response to the rotational movement, and is energized in the direction for engaging with the latch by a detent lever energizing spring 19, and is brought into pressure contact with the cover 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
