PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, its automatic reception reply method, program, and reception confirmation reply system including the information processing apparatus in which a labor for manual reception confirmation can be saved. SOLUTION: A reception confirmation reply system 100 comprises: a FAX machine 101 which exchanges data with a compound machine 102 having a FAX function or another non-illustrated FAX machine or telephone set; a management device 103 for creating reply data; and the compound machine 102 which is connected with the management device 103 via a network 105 and exchanges data therewith. When there are FAX data received from the compound machine 102, the management device 103 creates the reply data, sets a destination to reply the reply data, and transmits the reply data to the FAX machine 101 via the compound machine 102 based on the set reply destination.
