PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize surroundings from outside a house such as a prowler's break-in at the house. SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 1', when detecting a watchdog's bark through a microphone, transmits image information picked up by a camera and collected audio information to an information storage apparatus 2'. The information storage apparatus 2' executes a voiceprint analysis of the audio information transmitted from the electronic apparatus 1'. If a threatening voiceprint is detected, the image information and audio information is stored in a storage part, and the information is transmitted to a portable information terminal 5. A display part and a speaker of the portable information terminal 5 output the image information and audio information, respectively, and the person who carries the portable information terminal 5 can know the situation around the watchdog. The information storage apparatus 2', when receiving a reproduction request, reproduces the image information and audio information stored in the storage part through an AV apparatus connected to the information storage apparatus 2'.
