PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortical flow preventive device of a fluid machine for controlling self-excited vibration incident to swirling flow caused by a swirling component of steam. SOLUTION: In the vortical flow preventive device of a fluid machine, a frictional resistance part 27 for providing resistance to leaked fluid flowing on the upstream side of a labyrinth seal part 21 provided between the device and a stationary part 15 opposed to a rotating part 16 is provided to a side surface 26 of a disc 22 integrally formed on the rotating part 16.
