PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine surely notifying that there is the change in game status to a player. SOLUTION: The game status shifts from a normal game status to big bonus or regular bonus according to the kind of a role of a won prize, and normal game status is restored when respective stop conditions are effected. The big bonus comprises small role games of 30 games and three times or lesser of regular bonus. A game status shift flag is set according to the game status after change when there is such a change in game status. In a reel varying start process which is started after performing inner lot by operation of a start lever by the player, whether the game status shift flag is set is determined, if the flag is set, the progress of the game is temporarily stopped until the predetermined freeze time lapses.
