<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect pipe lines between manholes in which murky water exists using TV cameras. <P>SOLUTION: This method is to inspect pipe lines between manholes in which murky water exists. A pipe line inspection device comprising a water shut-off ball having an air supply tube, a TV camera, a clear water supply tube, and a drain control ball is inserted into a pipe line. Compressed air is supplied form the air supply tube to shut off the pipe line using the water shut-off ball. Clear water is supplied between the water shut-off ball and the drain control ball from the clear water supply tube to replace the murky water to clear water.
