摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material for lithium secondary battery which has little volume variation at the time of charge and discharge in the whole compound material, superior in cycle characteristics.

SOLUTION: The negative electrode active material for lithium secondary battery is made by compounding graphite particle 1 and ultrafine particle 2..., and the ultrafine particle 2... is formed by an in-gas evaporation method, and its particle size is in a range of 1 nm or more and 100 nm or less, and is composed of an element capable of alloying with lithium.
