<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a document reading means designed so as to prevent an operator from leaving an input document behind. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a document detecting means for detecting a document set on a document table; a document reading means for reading the information of the document; an image recording means for recording and outputting the read information of the document onto recording paper; and a display means.
