<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suspend a printing job in a state of preventing the wasting of staples and making the reverses of recording papers reusable in an image recording device having the function of adding stapling to a printing job and performing. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device has a control means 1 for accepting a suspend command to a printing job in progress in a stapling mode and performing a prescribed suspension.
