摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zero insertion force connector for a flexible printed circuit with a low height improving the durability of a contact, capable of surely maintaining the opening/closing state of a back lock type lever serving as a cover. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of forked contacts 40 are arranged in a housing 10 having an insulation property. A back lock type lever 30 is rotation-freely held on an upper face releasing end 17 at the backside of the housing 10. The forked contact 40 has an upper arm 42a and a lower arm 42b. The lower arm 42b is fixed to the housing 10, and a forked engaging arm 44 having an U-shaped groove 45 is made to protrude at the opposite side. The upper arm 42a is continuously jointed to the engaging arm 44, and the lever 30 is integrally constructed with a rotation axis 31 and a holding part 32. The peripheral part of the rotation axis 31 is turned into a plate cam 33a, and constitutes a cam device connecting the engaging arm 44. The plate cam 33a makes the engaging arm 44 displace by the rotation of the lever 30, and adjusts the opening of the contact part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
