摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of the longitudinal vibration of a vehicle when the operating point of an engine is moved from a first operating line to a second operating line. <P>SOLUTION: Based on the varying rotating speed (ne) of an engine, an electronic control unit obtains, in addition to the target torque (te*) of the engine, the target opening/closing timing VT* of an intake valve by a continuous variable valve timing mechanism, the target opening SVP* of a throttle valve by an actuator, and the target ignition timing IT* of an ignition plug (step S302). The values of the target opening/closing timing VT* are obtained by finely setting VT* so that the varying speed of the VT* matches the varying rotational speed ne of the engine.
