<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method and a program for image processing for easily and speedily adjusting two kinds of variable parameter, the quantity of parallel movement and the gradient of a gradation converting characteristic curve. <P>SOLUTION: The quantity of gradual variation Δs of the parameter of the quantity of parallel movement s in selecting a button is Δo/al or Δo/a2 based on the gradient a1 or a2 of the gradation converting characteristic curve a or b, and the variation range Δo of values of output pixels. Accordingly, the value of output pixel is changed always by the constant variation range Δo whenever a button is selected, and an operator can select the brightness and the photographic density of an image as the operator likes by selecting a button to change the brightness or the density always by a constant value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
