PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adhere with pressure a thermal recording paper sheet by a simple configuration without complicating operations. SOLUTION: A thermal head 21 and a platen roller 22 are disposed so that an interval D at a recording position where a heating element array 21a and a surface of the platen roller 22 are opposed to each other becomes smaller than a thickness T of a recording paper sheet 16. The thermal head 21 and the platen roller 22 are fixed to the respective positions. The recording paper sheet 16 is fed so that a leading end part 16a butts against the platen roller 22 immediately before the recording position. When the platen roller 22 rotates, the recording paper sheet 16 is drawn into the recording position by a friction force of the platen roller with the recording paper sheet 16. The drawn recording paper sheet 16 is adhered by an elasticity between the platen roller 22 and the recording paper sheet 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
