PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide external connection terminals respectively having a structure of satisfying a cross section, connection strength, earthquake resistance, etc. coping with a large current since a large ripple current is required for a high-voltage and large-capacity film capacitor. SOLUTION: This metallized film capacitor includes one or a plurality of capacitor elements obtained by coiling or stacking a metallized film, an outer case incorporating the capacitor elements and having opening parts, and terminal parts connected to electrode parts 8 provided on both of the sides of the capacitor elements and projecting to outside from the opening parts of the outer case. The outer case includes female screw parts for joining the terminal parts and the external connection terminal parts to connect with the terminal parts at the periphery parts of the opening parts.
