PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables easily judging the browning of wood flour when kneading a highly wood flour-filled resin composition as a material for preparing a polymer formed article containing wood flour, in the molding. SOLUTION: The browning is judged based on the color of a compression-stretched sample obtained by compression-stretching a highly wood flour-filled resin composition as a material for preparing a polymer formed article containing wood flour, in the formed article. Or, the browning is judged based on the color of an aqueous solution obtained by mixing the compression-stretched sample with water while stirring. Alternatively, the browning is judged based on the degree of acidity of the aqueous solution. According to these methods, the browning can be judged which cannot be determined from the appearance of the highly wood flour-filled resin composition, and the present method has simple and accurate judging function as a judging method when the highly wood flour-filled resin composition is prepared.
