PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic adhesive composition having improved adhesive properties such as cohesive force. SOLUTION: The acrylic adhesive composition is characterized by containing a copolymer that comprises following two components (A) and (B) as essential component. It comprises as component (A) 1-30 wt.% of a vinyl-based polymer which has, in a molecule and at the terminal of the molecule, one or more groups represented by general formula (1): -OC(O)C(R<SP>a</SP>)=CH<SB>2</SB>(in the formula, R<SP>a</SP>shows hydrogen or a 1-20C organic group), and as component (B) 60-99 wt.% of a polymerizable acrylic monomer.
