PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a seat for a vehicle, in which structure, the seat can be moved by a simple operation while effectively utilizing a dead space in a cabin without the necessity for moving a seat cushion, and also a wide baggage room space can be formed by the movement of the seat not only in the forward and backward direction but also in the upward and downward direction. SOLUTION: A rear seat of the vehicle comprises a seat back cover 7 which is arranged on the back surface side of the seat back 3, and which is rotatably connected to a floor panel 15 at a lower end side thereof, and which rotatably supports the seat back 3 at an upper end side thereof, and which is slidably pivoted to guide slits 6a formed on side surfaces of the seat back 3, and a telescopic member 16 which is provided between the seat back cover 7 and the seat back 3, and which energizes the seat back 3 in the forward and upward direction. The seat back 3 turns forward by being energized by the telescopic member 16 and moves to the position in front of the seat cushion 2. At the same time, the seat back cover 7 falls down forward.
