PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling pressure of an reactor. SOLUTION: In the reactor 12 where a reactant liquid is fed through an inlet 100 by a primary feeding pump 8 and a reaction product gas and/or liquid is discharged through an outlet 101 and cooled in a cooling heat exchanger 13, and the pressure of the reactor 12 is controlled by feeding a pressure controlling medium to the outlet of the reactor 12 by a secondary main feeding pump 18A.
