PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crampon to be easily attached to a mountaineering boot firmly without being easily damaged, allowing a user to safely walk and to carry them conveniently. SOLUTION: A front plate 1 with sideways dislocation preventive pins 5 and a heel plate 2 are connected with a joint chain 3, and an attaching band means is disposed on the connected plates to be attached to the mountaineering boot S. The band means comprises heel holding chains 6 and 6 disposed on the heel plate 2, a lock bar member 14 attached between the upper ends of the chains 6 and 6 and locked to an over-heel part in the peripheral edge of the sole, a heel lifting belt 13 fixed to the ankle while lifting the heel holding chains 6 and 6, a toe holding chain 8, a side holding chain 7 and a lifting auxiliary piece 10 disposed on the front plate 1, an elastic band strap 9 with lifting hanging parts 9a, 9b, 9c and 9d engaged with the side holding chain 7 and the toe holding chain 8 by the lifting auxiliary piece 10, and with front-rear connection parts 9e and 9f extending from the lifting auxiliary piece 10 as both ends, and a strap end fastening piece 12 for locking the ends of the elastic band strap to the heel lifting band 13.
