PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner capable of stably forming an image, without causing image defects. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner includes a step of subjecting a dispersion liquid of toner particles, containing toner particles produced in an aqueous medium or an organic solvent to solid-liquid separation by using a filter produced by arranging linear members with a spacing in between.
