PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus capable of enhancing the grinding/stirring effect of garbage stored in the lower part of a container, capable of preventing the occurrence of drying irregularity and made easy to take out treated garbage at the time of disposal. SOLUTION: This garbage treatment apparatus is equipped with a garbage housing container 1, the rotary blade 2 arranged in the container 1 freely rotated by a rotary shaft 5 to grind/stir garbage and a heating means (magnetron 27) for heating garbage in the container 1. The rotary blade 2 has the cutter blade 4a having a shape extending along the bearing part 6 of the rotary shaft 5 and the base of the container 1 from the rotary shaft 5 protruded from the base of the container 1 and the cutter blade 4b extending to the bottom edge of the container 1 from the rotary shaft 5.
