PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a path mechanism which enable the preparation of a ball case with enough time before the put-out path is filled to the capacity. SOLUTION: In the path mechanism, a pinball game machine is provided with upper and lower ball trays arranged on the surface side of the front frame having a game board housed and held therein, a ball put-out device disposed on the rear side of the front frame, an upper ball tray put-out path connecting the ball put-out device and the upper ball tray, a lower ball tray put-out path which is provided on the rear side of the front frame connecting the ball put-out device and the lower ball tray and makes the game balls running over flow down onto the lower ball tray when the game balls are further put out while the upper ball tray put-out path is filled to the capacity. The upper ball tray 5 openably mounted on the surface side of the front frame is provided with a lower ball tray downflow path L10 which has an opening part 111 in the course of the upper ball tray put-out path connecting the opening part 111 and the lower ball tray with the upper ball tray 5 closed on the front frame. With the upper ball tray 5 closed on the front frame, this allows the game balls positioned near the opening part 111 to flow down onto the lower ball tray through the lower ball tray downflow path L10.
