PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte capable of improving various characteristics such as electric conductivity without degrading a cycle characteristic or the like in relation to an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery containing amines and to a lithium secondary battery using it.

SOLUTION: This electrolyte contains amines selected from a silazane derivative expressed by general formula (1), a piperidine derivative expressed by general formula (2) and an amine derivative expressed by general formula (3). This lithium secondary battery uses the electrolyte.
