<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a data input/output operation and rational charging that matches the operation can be realized. <P>SOLUTION: A charging method switching means 101 selects either a first accounting means 102 for charging for image formation by counting up copies per image forming operation and per an image reading operation or a second charging means 103 for charging by counting up copies based upon an amount of voice data inputted/outputted by a voice input/output means.
