<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize remodelling prevention of a printer controller in a printer apparatus configured to be connectible to a plurality of kinds of copying machines (engines). <P>SOLUTION: The printer apparatus (14) which is connected to the plurality of kinds of copying machines (11, 12 and 13) and is operable is equipped with a communication means for carrying out communication between the apparatus and each copying machine, a receiving means for receiving from each copying machine, kind recognition information whereby the kind of the copying machine is recognizable, and a charging rate changing means for changing a charging rate for using its own devices in accordance with the kind recognition information of each copying machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
