<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent toner from being scattered in a replacement operation of a toner reservoir container, in which a toner discharging hole of the toner reservoir container can be securely opened/closed. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: an engagement arm 53 protruding from a shutter member 50; a rectangular tube 291 of a toner receiving part 29, which opens a shutter member 50 by preventing accompanied movement of the shutter member 50 by a toner cartridge 30; a rear side engagement protrusion strip 201 which interferes with the engagement arm 53 when the toner cartridge 30 is attached to or detached from a developing device 20 so as to shut the shutter; a guided protrusion 531 provided to the engagement arm 53 of the shutter member 50; and a guide member 63 provided to the side of a side plate 61 of a casing 60, for guiding the relative movement of the guided protrusion 531. The guide member 63 is provided with a loop path whose shape is set so that the route for passing the guided protrusion 531 when the toner cartridge 30 is attached to the developing device 20 is different from that when the toner cartridge 30 is detached from the developing device 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
