<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate heat generated within a display device efficiently by a heat transfer sheet whose area to be stuck to a display panel is large and which can diffuse heat especially in the direction of its surface. <P>SOLUTION: A display apparatus 10 includes a display panel 12 and a heat transfer sheet 14 which is mounted adjacent to one surface of the display panel 12 and in which a plurality of pores 14a are formed. The heat transfer sheet 14 may have an open-cell type structure in which the pores 14a exist in the form in which they are interconnected and/or a closed cell-type in which the pores 14a exist in the form in which they are not connected with each other. Moreover, the heat transfer sheet 14 may be made of metallic material and, in the sheet 14, the thermal conductivity of the direction of the surface is larger than that of the direction of its thickness and the sheet may be made of a material having anisotropy in the thermal conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
