<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that prints inputted names or the like together with a group photograph by preparing the images of the profile of persons shown on the group photograph when the group photograph is printed from a storage medium such as a medium. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device 10 has a writing input memory 27, a profile image processing section 28, an image memory 29 and an OR section 30. The image data of the group photograph is read from a medium by a medium reading and writing section 26. An operation on an operation display panel 25 is received by a touch panel control section 26 and controlled by a controller 20. The image data of the group photograph is developed to the image memory 29. The profile image processing section 28 prepares the profile of a person from the image data of the collective photograph. Characters entered by a user are stored in the writing input memory 27.
