<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting work for a curtain air bag covering a side window of an automobile by simplifying the structure of a bracket for mounting the air bag in the vehicle body, and to reduce manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: This device is constructed of a plurality of mounting pieces 22 provided along the upper end of the air bag main body 21 of the air bag 1 developed from the upper side to the lower side along the side window of the vehicle body. A bracket 20 is mounted in each mounting piece 22. The mounting piece 22 is held by the bracket 20 and a vehicle body panel, and fastened and fixed by a bolt. The bracket 20 can be mounted in the air bag 1 by simple work of inserting each mounting piece 22 in the insertion hole part 51 of the bracket 20, and hooking a hooking hole part 42 on a hooking part 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
