<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a credit card settlement system in an EC store by which even an order of a commodity whose stock cannot be confirmed can be received and the validity of a credit card presented by a purchaser can be immediately checked. <P>SOLUTION: The credit card settlement method in a virtual store includes procedures for performing credit processing of a small amount when an order is received in order to verify the validity of the credit card, temporarily storing information including an order number generated in each order, a credit card number and a purchase amount in a memory as one record when there is no problem, and on a stage that the stock of the ordered commodity can be confirmed, performing credit processing and selling processing based on a practical purchase amount about the credit card number stored in the memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
