PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet cassette which prevents tablets from being discharged in the course of attaching or detaching the tablet cassette. SOLUTION: The tablet cassette 1 stores a large number of tablets T and accommodates a rotor which has a pocket 7 in which the tablets T are held. By mounting the tablet cassette 1 onto a mounting base, the tablets T held in the pocket 7 are discharged from a discharging opening 8 by the rotation of the rotor. The tablet cassette 1 includes a press member 16 that is pressed when the tablet cassette 1 is attached/detached to/from the mounting base; and a rotor reversely rotating member 19 which reversely rotates the rotor only by a predetermined amount in conjunction with the pressing of the press member 16.
