PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type cellular phone terminal for preventing corruption and damage on a display unit during telephone conversation. SOLUTION: A projected part 8 having a shape projected almost upright to the display face of a display unit 6 and having the same rotation medial axis as the rotation medial axis 5a of a hinge 5 is provided at a first cabinet 1. When the first cabinet 1 and a second cabinet 3 are full opened, the first cabinet is located to a position lower than the second cabinet 3 by the projected amount of the projected part 8. In this way, a hollow space K according to the projected amount of the projected part 8 is formed between the side of user's face and the display unit 6 of the first cabinet 1 during its used condition of conversation. During conversation, trouble, such as defacement or damage, on the display unit 6 caused by attachment of fat of skin or sweat of user's face while the display unit 6 of the first cabinet contacted to the side of user's face is prevented.
