PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of obtaining a video signal subjected to desired video signal processing on the basis of a plurality of video signals photographed by a plurality of image pickup parts, capable of further facilitating the switching of the combination of the image pickup devices, and moreover, capable of achieving the miniaturization of the device. SOLUTION: The image pickup device has an image pickup part for obtaining the video signal from an optical image passing through a lens and a video signal processing part which is connected with a plurality of the image pickup parts via cables and applies video signal processings to a plurality of the video signals obtained via the cables. Further, the video signal processing part switches a video signal processing system corresponding to kinds of the plurality of video signals and the number of the signals of the plurality of video signals.
