PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for increasing an information quantity of a target object in an imaged picture more than the information quantity of the other objects and storing the resulting picture. SOLUTION: The picture imaging apparatus for imaging an object is provided with: an imaging section for imaging the imaged picture of the object; a display section for displaying the imaged picture imaged by the imaging section; a position detection section for detecting a noted position on the basis of a line of sight of a user on the display section; and an image processing section for storing the target object displayed at the noted position detected by the position detection section among a plurality of objects included in the imaged picture so that the target object has more information quantities than those of the other objects.
