PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm notification system for a machine tool not allowing a machine manager to miss an important alarm, and allowing certain grasp of the alarm when it is not dissolved forever even if it is not an important alarm. SOLUTION: An operation situation management device 10 centrally managing operation situation data on the machine tools 20 of all customers and the machine tool 20 of each the customer are connected via a wireless communication network and the Internet 60, and the operation situation data on the machine tool 20 including alarm information are distributed to the operation situation management device 10 by an electronic mail. When the alarm generated in the machine tool 20 is an alarm having a high importance level or when it is not dissolved even after a prescribed time lapses after the generation even if it is an alarm having a low importance level, a mail server 11 automatically notifies a user PC 30 or a mobile communication appliance 40 which the machine manager possesses of the alarm information as the electronic mail.
