PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gusset bag, of which an upper end outlet can be kept open widely upon opening the bag with a simple structure and by a simple opening operation, so that an article in the bag can be taken out easily smoothly. SOLUTION: The gusset bag 10 comprises a pair of front/back front faces 14, and a pair of left/right side fold-in parts 15 which can be folded inside the front faces 14, respectively. The gusset bag 10 is made to stand by itself, and an upper end outlet 11 is opened to take a detergent out of the bag 10. A fin-like vertical rib 16, which is formed by folding outward thin vertically elongated portions 24 at both sides of a folding center line 19 on the side fold-in part 15 and gluing together the interior of the elongated portions 24, is formed at the center of each side fold-in part 15. The vertical rib 16, for example, can be formed easily by pinching the outwardly folded elongated portions 24 at the outside and welding together them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
