PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating repair-use transfer member capable of beautifully finishing scars formed on the coated surface of an automobile body. SOLUTION: The transfer member for coating repair 4 in this invention consists of a base member 11, which has a peel-off nature, and an adhesive sheet 41, which sandwiches an adhesive layer between two separators 21, 22. The coating repair method using the coating repair-use transfer member 4 in this invention comprises the following steps to be executed in this order: (A) forming a colored layer 1 on the surface of the peeling-off nature member 11, (B) peeling off the separator 21, one of the two separators 21, 22 sandwiching the adhesive layer 2, and pasting the exposed adhesive layer 2 to the colored layer 1 formed on the member with a peeling-off nature 11, (C) peeling off the other separator 22 from the adhesive sheet 41, and pasting the exposed layer to a repair portion 3, and (D) separating the member with a peeling-off nature 11 from the colored layer 1.
