PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a doctor from overlooking a lesioned part to improve a diagnostic efficiency. SOLUTION: Image data are analyzed, abnormal shadow candidates such as a mass shadow and microcalcification clusters are detected, and an enhancement processing for enhancing abnormal shadow candidate parts or an eliminating and attenuation processing for eliminating or attenuating the abnormal shadow candidate parts is executed. Then, a plurality of enhanced images of different enhancement degrees are simultaneously displayed at a display means 5.
