Storytelling with sound effects, narration and breaks in the dialogue to permit pausing the playback of a recording media is disclosed to foster imagination, education and communication among listeners. The method provides a vehicle for achieving these goals even when the listeners may be distracted, e.g., while driving, to optimize opportunities for education and entertainment.
